How to Keep Your Christmas Blooms Merry and Bright
What makes our Christmas Catalogue special and unique is that each product is prepared
at the most optimal time to make each piece absolutely fresh and novel!
Santa made a list and checked it twice on how to make them last a bit longer.
Here it is:
Mist or spritz the Noble Fir foliage with fresh, clean water every other day. Make sure not to sodden the adornments!
Keep your tree away from direct heat or sunlight.
Life span: 2-3 weeks until it becomes fully dried.
Keep your poinsettia away from direct sunlight.
Water the plant with fresh, clean water after every 3 days whenever the surface feels dry to the touch. Be careful not to drown them as standing water can cause their roots to rot.
Poinsettias appreciate warm room temperature.
Trim off discolored, dry, or limp leaves,
if necessary.
Once you see some mold from the soil, get rid of them by simply using a hand shovel, spade, or a small spoon.

General Flower Care Reminders
Note that these reminders apply for all arrangements.
Place in a cool, dry environment. Do not expose the flowers to direct sunlight or heat as this may cause them to wilt faster.
Elegance is delicate. Refrain from touching the petals and the head of the flower
Avoid tilting the container of the floral arrangement to prevent leakage.
Special Flower Care Reminders
For Eternity or preserved flower arrangements:
To keep your preserved flowers still as beautiful as they were the day you received them, heed these simple steps:
Do not water them. Preserved flowers should not be watered, not even misted, as this will cause damage to the beauty and delicateness of the petal.
Keep them away from direct sunlight and out of humid places or environments, as this will gradually lead to petal discoloration and fading.
Refrain from pressing, bending, or squashing the petals or stems. Remember these flowers are fragile and delicate akin to a very thin paper.
For Wrapped Bouquets with a water packet
or floral vials:
STEP 1
STEP 2
STEP 3
STEP 4
Carefully remove the packaging and water vials from the flower stems.
Use clean shears to trim stem diagonally every two days, 1/4” from the bottom for maximum water absorption.
Fill your favorite vase with lukewarm water and place flowers inside immediately.
Remove any low-hanging leaves and ensure that flowers are absorbing fresh and clean water every day.
For Floral arrangements in a vase or container
with fresh water:
STEP 1
STEP 2
STEP 3
Fresh, clean water will help maximize the lifespan of cut flowers, so change the water at least every two days.
The recommended amount of water should be around 3” to 4” from the bottom tip of the flower, and the recommended height of the vase should be at least half of the total height of the flowers to provide them enough space to breathe.
Upon receipt, use clean, disinfected shears to trim stem diagonally 1/4” from the tip of the stem for maximum water absorption. Repeat this at least every 2 days to reinvigorate the flowers.
Be mindful of wilting flowers and make sure to segregate and dispose them immediately to avoid contaminating the flowers that are still fresh.
For long-stemmed flower arrangements in a floral foam:
It is very important to note that long-stemmed flowers can only stand sturdy for 12-18 hours when arranged using floral foam. Therefore, before they become flaccid make sure to immediately transfer them to your favorite vase, and follow the tips and steps in the For Floral arrangements in a vase or container with fresh water.

Here are some more tips PER SPECIFIC FLOWER VARIETY to help prolong the beauté of your luxurious blooms:
Ecuadorian Rose
Dutch Tulip
Stargazer
All hail to the Queen of Roses. Her majesty needs as much considerate and solicitous care as regular ones, despite having a more blossoming and flourishing appearance.
You already have a piece of the majestic Netherlands. All that is left is to enjoy it while it lasts.
One gaze and you’ll know they are welcoming your gentle care and attention with their arms wide open.
The outer petals on roses are called the guard petals. They usually have a thicker texture and darker color. You may simply pluck them. Do this as slow, gentle, and careful as possible to allow your roses to spend their energy on the prettier, more refined inner petals.
Once received, carefully and gently remove the net guards from each tulip head to witness how they arrestingly bloom on their own. We use net guards to keep them from opening while in transit and from drooping due to the warm weather and/or unstable temperature.
Once it has bloomed, gently pluck the anther with pollen from the filament, taking care not to let the pollen touch the petals or other objects to avoid stains.
Caution: In case of ingestion of any part of this plant by an animal, it can cause symptoms like vomiting or lack of appetite. Please keep away from cats and dogs.
Hydrangea
Gypsophila or
Baby’s Breath
Phalaenopsis
Orchid
These large globes of flowers are always a sight to behold, make sure to provide the delicate care they dearly need. They are one of the most sensitive flower varieties out there!
Sometimes a floral accent, always a breath taker that longs for your stellar care.
A well-cared-for phalaenopsis orchid can stay in bloom for months on end.
Did you know that hydrangeas are the only flowers that actually absorb water through their petals? So, feel free to spray or drench the flower head in warm water for a few seconds to invigorate them.
Keep the stem properly hydrated with clean water.
Let your Baby’s Breath flowers breathe nicely by keeping them in a well-ventilated area.
Make sure to never overwater and underwater your cut orchids; 1/4 cup of water is just right and enough.
Orchids are not a fan of direct sunlight, but of high humidity areas.
Peony
Sunflower
Ranunculus
With their season being so short, we can’t blame you for wanting to keep these charming blooms fresh as long as possible.
The name may urge you to put the arrangement in direct sunlight but it’s a no-no for cut sunflowers.
Take it from us, their lovely ruffled petals will make you want to keep them alive loooonger.
